The majority of restaurants are more concerned with profit margins and taste then your health. As a result they cook with cheap inflammatory causing vegetable oils, they add refined grains and sugars to sauces, dressings and condiments, and serve poorly sourced factory farmed animal products.
When eating out try and find a farm to table restaurant that cooks with high quality oils (organic coconut oil, cold pressed olive oil, organic avocado oil, etc.) and serves locally grown, wild caught, grass fed, pasture raised meats and vegetables. If this is not possible ask your server to cook your dish in a healthy oil and substitute dressings, sauces, or condiments for a healthy alternatives (cold pressed olive oil, avocado oil, vinegar, organic mustard etc).
