Vegetables are not essential on Keto but they can provide some benefits and many enjoy their taste.  When consuming vegetables, it is important to choose the right vegetables. As a safe rule of thumb, leafy green vegetable like spinach, asparagus, and broccoli are the best options. Cauliflower, mushrooms, and zucchini also make great options.
