How do I know if I am in ketosis?


The most common way to see if you are in ketosis is by testing your ketone levels.  There are several different ways to do this but the problem is that each method has different pros and cons, it is unclear what the most optimal level of ketones in the blood is, and there are many factors that can impact your results.

For this reason, a better way to determine if you are in ketosis is to listen to your body.  If you are experiencing common signs of ketosis such as increased energy, weight loss, improved focus, and/or decreases in hunger and cravings, chances are you are in a state of ketosis.
