What are the best Keto protein sources?

 

When considering the most Keto-Friendly protein sources, sources more rich in fat like fatty fish, red meat, whole eggs, and nuts make for great sources of protein on Keto.

In general, most animal sources of protein are great for Keto but quality of the meat is always important to consider.  Lunch meats and other highly processed meats lose most of their nutritional value and could even compromise health.

Nutritional value is also important when looking at protein sources so while some foods like bacon may be low carb and taste great, they do not provide a great amount of micronutrients and should not be a staple protein source of a Keto Diet.
